Yup, talk about an adrenaline rush. Nothing gets you "High on Life" like racing does. Out here in Katy, Texas there's a straight 2 lane strip of road (4lanes either way w/median in the middle) that I usually go out to so I can play around with my friend's G-Tech. But anyways, last night my friend brought out his BMW and we decided to have a little fun. Going into the race I didnt think I had a chance. Having ridden in the Bimmer, I thought the torque would crush my Z. But apparently not... All 3 races I managed to take the Bimmer off the line and all the way down the lenghty 1/4 mile strip and get out ahed by about 3 car lengths. If you're surprised, believe me... so am I! After we split up and I got home, I locked up the Z and took about 5 minutes to just gaze at how beautiful a car it is. I had finally gotten that feeling of satisfaction from having a *personally* restored '91 Z stomp a pampered as hell brand new Bimmer. Such a great feeling. So that's my story. Sorry it was long, but I couldn't resist sharing. Oh, and I decided to give the Z a day off for a good nights work =) Happy ZX'ing, and everyone be extremely careful if you race!! Later --- Vann
